Star Wars: Legacy #26 ( Dark Horse / Ostrander / Duursema / Parsons )
“The Galaxy is in shreds from Darth Krayt’s lesson in obedience. Cade Skywalker has resolved that this Sith Emperor must be stopped, not only to free himself and his friends from being hunted-but to save the Galaxy from further punishment. And he can’t do it alone!
Cade travels to a “secret” Jedi Temple to acquire help from additional Jedi, but his arrival may bring other dangers that do not originate with Darth Krayt . . .
This is the future of Star Wars, the continuation of the story that started in the original trilogy, and none of it has been seen before.”
Here is a book that that perfect combination of writer/storyteller and artist. John Ostrander and Jan Duursema have created twentysix issues of fried gold within the covers of Star Wars: Legacy! In this unexplored era of the Star Wars universe, the story of Cade Skywalker (the the rest of the Skywalker clan) is so compelling that is constantly at the top of my read pile the week it comes out.
This issue is no different as we are treated to the perfect balance of action and story progression. Ostrander keeps that awesome ball rolling as we see a new Jedi make the call on if they will support Cade in his mission against the Sith. In addition, we get more back story on long time supporting character Jariah Syn and his hatred for the Jedi.
