BOOM! Studios announced a first look at ONCE UPON A TIME AT THE END OF THE WORLD #10, the final issue of the second story arc, THE RISE AND FALL OF GOLGONOOZA, from New York Times bestselling and Eisner and Harvey Award winning writer Jason Aaron (Thor, The Avengers, Southern Bastards), debuting the new artists for this arc, illustrator Leila del Duca (Wondergirl: Homecoming), colorist Tamra Bonvillain (Sins of the Black Flamingo), and letterer AndWorld Design (Something is Killing the Children). One of the most ambitious creator-owned series to date with three unique artistic teams to take on a vision of the end of the world that’s brutal and nostalgic, whimsical and grounded… and ultimately, timeless.
In the final issue of THE RISE AND FALL OF GOLGONOOZA, Maceo and Mezzy inflict emotional damage on each other in ways even the wasteland couldn’t dream of, and the threads of their relationship continue to tear. The community is dissolving and breaking, just like Maceo’s machines, and he and Mezzy are poised to be the final remaining members. If it comes to that, can they salvage what’s there, or will they even want to cross the chasm between them?
ONCE UPON A TIME AT THE END OF THE WORLD #10 features main and variant cover art by highly acclaimed illustrator Kevin Wada (Specs), and variant cover art by famed artists Cory Godbey (Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Sirens), Yanick Paquette (Wonder Woman), and Tula Lotay (Something is Killing the Children).
