The “Guardian of Light” has failed, and no Bannerman is willing to volunteer after the previous five failed to perform the “Ritual of Stars”.
“Phantoms of the Lake” follows a Ah’etta, of the Vvenda people, a nation who settled on an archipelago after their ancestors were displaced by strange humanoid beings known as “Phantoms”. And a recent Bannerman inductee, the voluntary protectors of the Vvenda people.
Plagued by strange whispers from the mainland and suspected to come from the Phantoms specifically, It is the responsibility of the Bannermen to perform a special ritual that can only be done on their ancestral home, the Mainland, by a voluntary Bannerman, honorably titled, the “Guardian of Light”.
