Female Led Publishing Company Takes Over Cthulhu Anthology for Backerkit Fundraiser
New York, New York (Feb. 16th) USA Bestselling author, Russell Nohelty, first launched the comic book anthology, Cthulhu is Hard to Spell, in 2018 with the franchise raising over $100K on Kickstarter alone. The hook: the series showcases diverse voices exploring the popular gods and monsters of Lovecraft…from a franchise that wasn’t so diverse. Nohelty now passes the baton to Laurie Foster, publisher at Unlikely Heroes Studios
For the first time, Cthulhu is Hard to Spell joins the re-tooled fundraising platform, Backerkit. These new re-releases will collect stories from their original hardcovers into three easily accessible softcovers with cover art by Stan Yak (TMNT, I Hate Fairyland, Broken Gargoyles) /Robert Nugent, Javiera Argandona, and Emily Maneval. The softcover will also include new stories by Russell Nohelty and Nicolas Touris, as well as others by Fish Lee, Michael Norwitz, and more for longtime fans of the franchise to enjoy.
The books involve such pros as Kris Simon (Morning Glories, Group Editor at IDW), Megan Hutchinson (Department of Truth, The Approach, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), and Ray Anthony Height (Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur)!
