Atlantis Studios announced today the release of Star Runner: Dark Star Issue #3, the next episode in the Star Runner Chronicles digital series.
Dark Star is the direct sequel to the best-selling graphic novel Star Runner: Fallen Star, which tells the story of seventeen-year old Aurora Palmer, a rebellious teen who learns the truth behind her alien origins, and uses her powerful abilities to protect her friends and discover her destiny.
In Issue Three, Aurora is forced to stand alone against a ruthless band of intergalactic mercenaries led by the sinister shape-shifting alien N’Guhl Chuk. Powerless against superior technology, Aurora realizes that there is only one force that can hold back the enemy: her unique abilities as a Star Runner. But will that be enough to save her friends?
Dark Star is the second volume of the Star Runner Chronicles, written by screenwriter James Watson, released in digital comic episodes every quarter. The series follows its hero Aurora Palmer from her normal teen origins, to inner rings of the Galaxy, and ultimately, to her destiny in the stars.
“The stakes are extremely high in this final episode of Dark Star” said James Watson, “Aurora stands to lose everything, and the forces mobilized against her are overwhelming. She must draw from deep personal courage to battle for those she loves, even if she has to stand alone.”
The Star Runner: Dark Star series is available to download direct or via Amazon Kindle.
