Slightly Exaggerated is a new comic book series written by Curtis Clow (Beastlands, The Wild Cosmos) with art by Pius Bak (The Magicians: Alice’s Story, Adventure Time) and letters by Toben Racicot (Sidequest). In Slightly Exaggerated, a dying girl must steal back a sacred artifact from a crazed cult leader in a world where religion is law. Set in an over the top, whimsical fantasy land filled with flying sea creatures, talking animals, and more, Slighty Exagerated is unique adventure fantasy fans won’t want to miss!
Slightly Exaggerated #1 (which can be purchased directly from To Infinity Studios here) was successfully funded via Kickstarter in March 2020. Issue #2 launches on Kickstarter on February 8th.
Curtis Clow is the writer/co-creator of comics such as The Wild Cosmos, Beastlands, and Slightly Exaggerated. He’s worked with publishers like Scout Comics and In Hiatus Studios. He’s had over ten successful Kickstarters for comics and founded his own imprint ‘To Infinity Studios’ where he self publishes his books. You can find him backpacking in the mountains if he’s not writing comics at his desk.
Pius Bak is an illustrator and comic book artist, working and living in Lithuania. Mostly self-taught, he started off as a freelance concept artist before transitioning into drawing comics. In his 5 year long career as a comic book artist he has worked mostly with comics publishers BOOM! Studios, IDW and Dark Horse. Titles he has worked on include Firefly, The Magicians, Adventure Time, Stranger Things, Jim Henson’s The Labyrinth and many others.
Toben Racicot writes and letters comics. He’s worked on The Wild Cosmos, Thorn Squadron, Menagerie, and Rumble Kings. Together with his wife, Alaire Racicot they create Crown & Anchor, the fantasy sci-fi pirate adventure. He also runs multiple Dungeons & Dragons campaigns and continues the hunt in Bloodborne. He’s also working on a PhD in Role Playing Games and Comic Books at the University of Waterloo.
