After coming out with news yesterday that Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing Doctor Strange, Marvel Studios held a special presentation at LA’s El Capitan theater where they announced a slew of new film projects.
Most notable among these is the inclusion of a Carol Danvers Captain Marvel movie, which marks the first stand alone female superhero movie Marvel will release. Along we Ms. Danvers, we get the aannouncementof a Black Panther movie, which will hit theaters on November 3 2017.
The full slate of films announced is as follows:
Captan America: Civil War — May 6, 2016.
Doctor Strange — Nov. 4, 2016.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 — May 5, 2017.
Thor: Ragnarok — July 28, 2017.
Black Panther — Nov. 3, 2017.
Avengers: Infinity War (Part I) — May 4, 2018.
Captain Marvel — July 6, 2018.
Inhumans — Nov. 2, 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War (Part II) — May 3, 2019
