So there hasn’t been a good Spider-Man game since Spider-Man 2, much like the movies. At first I thought Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions looked like a lame attempt for Marvel to bring in their pulp story line to make a quick buck out, what I felt, was a lame idea. But then I saw this trailer they made for the up-coming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) and it is now a game I will be at least checking out. See, I’m a child of the 80’s, which means I got my own job, and money, for comic buying in the 90’s, right when Marvel’s 2099 imprint ran. While most of Marvel 2099’s characters were wholly forgettable, Spider-Man 2099 was, indeed, awesome.
