Drone #4 (Red 5 – Chitwood / Kintz / Henderson / Peteri)
Chinese assassins are closing in on the American hackers, so their across-the-globe rescue of Cat and the hostages goes mobile. Meanwhile, the rebels attack with a drone army of their own.
Red 5 stepped out on a limb in this four part series about gamers / hackers who stumble into a government experiment and end up being military heroes. Scott Chitwood (Afterburn) does a great job of fleshing out the crew and making the characters more than just stereotypes and actually make the readers connect with them. This series was a freshmen attempt for the Kintz / Henderson art team, and they did overall pretty darn good, presenting a unique style that translated the narration well and drove the “beat the clock” mood and tone of the story. The series overall is definitely worth a read!
A Drone trade would be a perfect gift for the gamer in your life!
