This series has been rock solid for more than a year now, so it’s acceptable when an issue is all hype and low content. And I guess I shouldn’t say “low content”… there’s a whole lot of fighting, a little bit of unmasking and mopping up of the vast cast of this book, the reappearance of the original Skrull Kill Crew (or at least their heads – nope, not making it up), the promise of a new Skrull Kill Crew books and a great cover by Mark Brooks… but that’s about it. Uncharacteristically, this issue didn’t move the Secret Invasion storyline along at all. The first Dan Slott filler book I read in quite some time.
