The only negative this month is a switch in artists. I hope this is a temporary swap and not something that will impact this book in the long run. Up until issue #4, the art has been of a high-quality pin-up style. It was dramatic poses you could believe in. Ron Adrian has stepped in this issue and it’s not that he’s a bad artist, but it was a much more animated feel, in both action and figures, than what this book has had. It’s kind of like you want a handsom guy to play the “Indiana Jones” role. The bottom line, is you need a hot artist to pull off muscle bound protagonists and bad-girl sorceress types.
Well, here’s to hoping to success for Sinbad!
