Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #32 ( Dark Horse / Miller / Ching )
“At long last, Padawan Zayne Carrick confronts the Jedi Masters who framed him for murder!
The prophecy that was seen by Zayne’s Masters appears to be coming true. Two pieces of the sequence have come to pass . . . and those who remain alive are still fighting to prevent their vision from becoming a reality. The Jedi Consulars are beginning to doubt themselves and it’s possible they have overlooked a true source of danger!”
At long last if right! Two and a half years is a long time to wait to get through a story arc. The real kicker is, we’re not done yet!! This is only the first issue in the ending arc, with three more to go. Finally, all the pieces are on the table and being moved into check position. Plus, this issue finally gives us a better glimpse at the evil Hazzen (oh, like you didn’t know that guy was a Sith!) and his plans for galactic domination.
With all the cool story elements going on in the issue, it would be easy to forget that we get one of the best things to happen to KOTOR this year, THE RETURN OF ARTIST BRIAN CHING!!!! That’s right fans, we get to see the best KOTOR artist doing what he does best. All the characters look like they should, angles and lines are compelling, and when the action kicks up you can feel the Force flowing from the page. Let’s all hope Brian stays around for a long long time.
