Star Wars: Legacy #24 ( Dark Horse – Ostrander / Duursema / Parsons)
Cade Skywalker determines to deal with the Empire once and for all in this conclusion to one of the most important stories of the year! When a reunion with old friends is compromised by an Imperial intrusion, Cade realizes there’s only one way to stop the Sith-a way that requires a fast ship, a custom-made blaster, and most of all, allies you can trust. Yet not all in his party are who they seem to be, and if Cade’s not careful, he might just doom the galaxy’s last ray of hope to a dark and devastating fate.
Wait, what did I just read? I know I came late to the Legacy party, but I thought Cade was the last Skywalker in universe. Turns out I am wrong. I won’t give too much away, but there is another. Also, there are more Jedi out there than we had thought (not the aforementioned Skywalker, he left the order) and Cade is setting out to find them. He’s taking the fight to the Sith and I can’t wait to read it.
This issue is a return to the art that made this book great. Yep, no more cartoony versions of the Sith. Very good stuff.
