Two of the brightest celebrities to shine at the Motor City Comic Convention this year were probably also two of the friendliest. Melody Mooney (Hygena) and Trisha Paytas (Ms. Limelight) starred in the second season of Scifi’s Who Wants To Be A Superhero. If you have never seen WWTBAS, it’s a cheesy, campy, family friendly fun-fest that is perfect for creative minds of all ages.
The Pullbox got to talk with these two heroines throughout the convention weekend about what they have been up to and what projects they have coming up. While Melody has starred in quite a few independent movie projects and has two movies in post-production (Melody’s IMDB file) and certainly is no stranger to geek culture in general (BTW, a huge 
Battlestar fan), she spends her time using her “superhero” status to support The Walk for Epilepsy and raise money for research for this great cause. Speaking with her, it’s obvious that her passion for this is deep-rooted and authentic.
