The more I see of the Alpha Lanterns, the more I’m impressed with the concept, and the more I’m amazed at the Guardians of Oa’s stupidity. Either they have a huge agenda or they’re going to unknowing unleash another devastating force on the universe. Not only do the Alpha’s have no emotions to second guess their “logic”, but they can also earn themselves extra power rings. Another war is brewing with the other Corps of various colors (you know it’s coming) and I don’t see where the unemotional “internal affairs” super-weapons Alphas are going to be a good thing.
As always, the writing and art are top notch. The Green Lantern books have become a mainstay in my pullbox, and I suggest they find a home in yours. You won’t be disappointed.
