- DC’s animated version of Justice League: The New Frontier premiers on DVD on Feb 26th

- It has been confirmed that Thunderbolt Ross will be a cameo character Marvel’s upcoming Iron Man movie, connecting it to the upcoming Hulk movie and possibly leading into the the Avengers movie project
- DC’s Shazam has been slotted as a 2009 release, written by John August, Directed by Peter Segal. The movie will follow the story of a 13 year old Billy Batson who can transform into Captain Marvel. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has made it public that he would like to be cast as Black Adam.
- Punisher: War Zone has it’s release date set as September 12, 2008. This movie is not a sequel to the Thomas Jane 2004 film, it is considered a re-telling of the Punisher story
- The newest director attached to DC’s Flash film is David Dobkins (Fred Claus), the film is still set with a 2008 release date
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman has been set to be released May 1, 2009
- DC Movie Properties Wonder Woman, Teen Titans and Supermax (Green Arrow vehicle) have all been put in the “stalled” category
- A live action version of Nicolodean’s Avatar: The Last Air Bender (directed by M. Night Shyamalan) has started pre-production
- Bryan Singer recently stated that he will return to direct the Superman sequel Man of Steel in 2010
