- Trickster is now officially dead and still cuffed to Piper
- Piper and Trickster did make amends before he died
- The electrocuffs that bound them are now Piper’s death trap… he is still attaced to the body and in twenty four hours, they blow up
- Desaad and Granny Goodness have a discussion about the plans and spoils of Darkseid
- More scenes of the potential amazons getting trained… trained to be the new Furies
- Holly and Harley go AWOL and explore a cave (huh? – nope, not making it up)
- The Challengers hit Earth 12 – home of Batman Beyond
- While they are taking in the earth n their search for Ray Palmer, anothe Monitor shows up
- There is a hardcore Monitor throw down… and we find out all the Monitors have taken names to prepare
- The Challengers then hide in the Bleed
- Karate Kid, Firestorm and the rest find a secret passage in the buried ruins of Bludhaven
- Karate Kid accidentally activates the protocols on a secret piece of technology they find
- This activates Brother Eye and an army of OMACs on their way to Karate Kid.

You know, it’s interesting, every week I am disappointed in this book, but every week… it’s still the first I read. This series is still dragging, but the fights are getting better. Countdown just seems like the slowdown.
