Grimm Fairy Tales Holiday Edition 2011 (Zenescope – Tedesco / Shand / Maniquis / Spay / Lyle / Rodgers / Falk)
Zenescope presents a very special Grimm Fairy Tales version of a Christmas Carol. Sela puts her own spin on the classic holiday tale while trying to teach a future princess of Myst a valuable lesson.
I know this review is a little late – but that has been the pace of life lately. The 2011 GFT edition holds up to the legacy that has been set by the previous editions. This year it one overall tale giving a truly modern version of A Christmas Carol – one that could have been ripped right from today’s entertainment page.
The writing is dead-on awesome, the art varies a tad given that several artists mosaic-ed the issue together, but it’s still very solid and allows a good flow for the story.
The Bottom Line: easily worth the cover price and a welcomed edition to the Zenescope checklist!
