This truly independent series is a great, fast-paced “cross-time” fantasy adventure!  It’s a classic plot hook – good and evil battle each other in the past and bring their battle to the modern day.    While the characters are archetypes and writing is slightly predictable – it fits exactly with the plot – and is both comfortable and enjoyable!.  Reading this feels like watching my favorite B-movie.  The artist behind the books keeps that in mind – the look is sexy and beautiful in that traditional pin-up fashion.

The Bottom Line:  A fun read!  I could easily see this as a CW show!

This premiers this weekend at NYCC!
