Moon Girl #4 (Red 5 - Trov / Zito / The Rahzzah / Bautista / Fox / Moldoff )

Class warfare and a massive fire on the roof tops of 1950′s New York continues and exiled Russian princess, Moon Girl, is helpless against the chaos! Her only hope is Doctor Benjamin Pierce but his skin crawling life story will reveal a disturbing secret history of the golden age of America.

Okay, this has been in my box about a month – I read it when I got it, I was blown away and then I got sidetracked and distracted by something shiny and I let Moon Girl get buried.  I know, it happens – my apologies.

But, what I can say now is that this modernized retro story of one of a hardcore pulp heroine shines in more way than one.

The writing is dark and twisted and reads like a scratched-up psychological thriller worth of having David Lynch at the helm.  Which is the real identity, Moon Girl or Nurse Clare? Dr. Pierce has a decision to make and whose destiny to believe in.  What is real and what is delusion?  The combined writing team of Tony Trov and Johnny Zito give the reader a story that grabs them by the ears and runs them down the street at 55 mph.  If you can take the intensity – you will love this plot!

You mix that incredible writing with absolutely fetishistic gorgeous and sexy graphics and you have a book most noir lovers could not put down!

This has been out – find it – you won’t be sad!
