The Traveler #10 (Boom! – Waid / Hardin)
With the mysterious Inheritors blazing a destructive path through Earth, it’s up to the Traveler and Soldier Zero to set aside their differences and stop the cataclysmic carnage before it’s too late! The crossover of the year continues as critically acclaimed writer Mark Waid and Tom Peyer bring you more of Stan Lee’s latest superhero creations!
Boom! and Mark Waid have been doing an outstanding job of keeping great action/sci-fi stories alive. This full-tilt, high-paced cross-over of The Traveler and Soldier Zero (and Starborn in other issues) is a prime example of what a good cross-over event should look like… every page worth reading!
The Traveler is the type of time-traveling, fist-to-cuffs type of adventure that would make both Captain Kirk and Doc Brown happy. To stop the assault of the Inheritors, the Boom! team-up of Soldier Zero and the Traveler might have to make an alliance that they will one day regret.
Mark Waid is doing what he does best here – laying down a great story and making fans cheer! Chad Hardin, the artist for the does a great job of supporting the story with old school type frames and splash pages that makes the perfect narration.
The Bottom Line: Time-traveling – Awesome fight scenes – Saving the Universe – What’s not to love?
This comes out this Wednesday!
