It’s the moment of truth and the point of no return for Connor and his team of telepaths as they race to stop Lucien’s destructive plan before thousands of lives are lost. This threat is exactly the type of situation they were designed for, but even if Connor and his team have the power to save the day, do they have the means to control that power? And more importantly, live with the consequences? Prepare for the world of MINDFIELD to be turned upside down as the first volume comes to its gripping conclusion!

For years, different authors have tried to really put their fingers on the “psychic-espionage-thriller” genre – and the field as a whole, has had various levels of success. Mindfield writer J.T. Krul shows that it can be done successfully and consistently – he has set the standard here!
If you have been reading the series, Issue #6 does not disappoint – and if you haven’t then you have no idea what you are missing. Get yourself to your local comic shop and find them or buy them directly from Aspen here. The story and character development is pretty top notch – a great blend of black-ops spy and sci-fi. The visual end of the book is very solid, creating a versatile background for both the Gun-fuish high-action sequences and “dreamscape” psychadelic landscape battles.
The Bottom Line: Fantastic book! It hit this week – go get it!
