28 Days Later #24 (Boom! – Nelson / Aragon)

LAST ISSUE! This is it, people. Selena and Clint’s long journey is coming to an end…and you know endings in the 28 DAYS LATER universe do not usually end well. With London burning, Selena and Clint are caught in the middle of the most menacing threat yet… Will this be Selena and Clint’s finest hour…or their last?

I don’t know what else to say – other than what I have been saying for two years – Michael Alan Nelson is a writing genius that this is not only the best movie-to-comic transition (most bomb by the end of the first issue) but also the best ongoing zombie book ever.  The characters were solid, believable  and crisp.  Each story arc was fresh (Sorry “The Walking Dead”) and almost every issue left the reader with a bead of sweat running right down the middle of their back.

Once again, another outstanding Boom! title ends it’s run.  And the final issue tying right back into the second movie.  Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! No other words for it!

Bottom Line: The trades will be a must have for any fan! This series is one I will re-read and re-re-read for years to come!
