Based on the DC event Brightest Day this starter set includes 7 new figures (Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Deadman, Firestorm, Aquaman , Captain Boomerang, and Osiris)

The Heroclix Brightest day starter set is a great buy for new and old players alike. The sets pieces are simple enough that a new player can use them. Yet powerful enough to go toe to toe with some of the bigger figs from other clix sets. Experienced heroclix players will love how effectively the figures will work with new and old Heroclix. For example Deadman’s “Summon the white” special power works on anyone with the “White Lantern Corps” keyword. And according to NECA theres going to be at least TEN white lantern corps figures in the DC 75 expansion. Not to mention that these are the best versions of Hawkgirl, Captain Boomerang, and Aquaman since… EVER! There isnt a single figure in this set that isn’t a blast to play. The best part about this set is the price tag with an MSRP of 22.99 (5 dollars less than the LAST starter) There’s very little reason not to pick this one up.

Final Verdict: A great way to introduce your self to heroclix. Mid to high level pieces give you multiple options for competitive teams.
