The Hollywood Insider reports that the new villain (or at least one of them) in Sony’s new Spider-Man re-boot will be The Lizard  – who will be played by Rhys Ifans.  Ifans working history has not necessarily been filled with fantasy adventure (outside of playing Daddy Lovegood in the upcoming Harry Potter films), but he might very well be able to pull off the “misunderstood brooding scientist” type
